Expressive Arts for young people!A Brief Recap of Embrace Yourself!✨
✨30 participants from partner organisations @_mkreativa_ (Slovenia), @wonders_of_milas (Turkey), @forward_for_future (Ukraine), @ga.szo (Poland) and Austria (us 😁) joined this youth exchange in Vienna. (21-27 July 2024).
✨As both our organisation and our Slovenian partner work with migrant communities, young people from Venezuela, Chile, Belarus, Peru, Ethiopia and Portugal (who live in these countries) also took part, which further enriched the experience. 🌈🥰
✨Over five full days, our facilitators @linda__velasquezramos @ma_ye.mi @ana_castrov immersed us in the methodology of Expressive Arts Therapy, a powerful tool that increased our awareness of mental and emotional well-being.
✨Creative activities were complemented by engaging intercultural events, including:
🏛️A guided visit to the Austrian Parliament
🎡A stroll through Prater amusement park
🎶An intercultural night
🐟Expressive Arts in Nature and a visit to the Danube
✨Participants also had the chance to:

EXPRESSIVE ARTS MUSEUM IN METAVERSE
Our virtual museums, which were created in the exchange, have provided an engaging and educational experience and young people has learnt and revised expressive art therapy tools and self-care techniques in a dynamic and memorable way through multimedia exhibits, interactive displays, and educational content.
This activity was led by Turkish partner Wonders of Milas.
